Six services, one station, one veterinary team, from the arrival yard in Berbera to the ship.
/ 06Every animal is examined when it arrives and again before release. Unfit animals are set aside straight away.
/ 06Lots are held in supervised pens for the full period the importing country sets, with a vet round every day.
/ 06Samples are taken and tested for the diseases on the destination country's list for each species.
/ 06Vaccines, deworming and any treatment are given on schedule and written into the lot's record.
/ 06Balanced feed, clean water and shade build animals up so they start the voyage in good condition.
/ 06A veterinarian checks the animals and the count as they move from the station onto the ship at Berbera port.
